Sea-Teacher 4th Batch : Day 11

Day 11

Today, I got up at 5.00. Ma’am Dena told us to get ready and waited for the driver in front of the school at 06.30, because the traffic is so bad. I'm very excited since we had visited the Indonesia embassy. The five of us who come from Indonesia went to the Indonesia embassy around 7 in the morning, because we must waited for the two boys. We went there by car. The Indonesia Embassy located in Makati City. Normally, to go there from Cainta just need around 1 hour. But on our way, there were so many traffic and it made us had a very long trip. It was about 3 hours of trip. We arrived there around 10 in the morning. The flag ceremony for that morning already done. That is the first time I didn’t join the flag ceremony in our Independence day. But it’s okay, this is also my first time to went to Indonesia Embassy. We saw lot's of Indonesian flag hanged on the fence. Then, we went in and took some pictures, because the decoration is so beautiful. After took some pictures, we went in to the building. The celebration has already started. In there, we met Ced then he asked as to have the dessert. The dessert was bubur kacaing ijo that is one of the traditional food in Indonesia. I don’t like it so much, but I eat it until my glass is empty hahaha.. The celebration runs very well, we had so much fun. There were so many performance about Indonesian culture. In the afternoon, we had lunch together and guess what, there were so many food and all of them are Indonesian food, finally we can eat well since when we arrived in Philippines we mostly eat rice and noodles. I almost to cry, because I miss the Indonesian food so much. Actually, one of the reason why I so excited to went to the Indonesia embassy is because I know there are so many Indonesian Food will be served.

After having lunch, we had some games to be played. The games were very fun. We join the games and get lot's of presents. At the end of the celebration, we did a Sajojo dance together and that was so exciting. Sajojo is one of the traditional dance of Indonesia. I felt like I already in my home in Indonesia. Thank you very much for Mrs. Dena who had prepared our trip to the Indonesia embassy. Then, we went back home to Roosevelt. We went home with bring so much experience, fun and joy.

Sea-Teacher 4th Batch : Day 15

Day 15 Today is Monday, but I didn't have any class because of the holiday. So, today Grace and I just went to the market to buy some ingredients for our meals. We bought rice, vegetables, eggs, onion, etc. After that, we went back to the dorm and cleaned up all the ingredients. Then, we cooked for our breakfast and lunch (brunch). When finished, we had our brunch and after that we washed the dishes and went back to our room. Today we just stayed in our room all day long because of the very heavy rain. We just sleep, talk each other, sing loudly, and sleep again.

Sea-Teacher 4th Batch : Day 2

Day 2 This morning, I woke up at 04.30 and pray shubuh as always. I thanks to god for every single things that he given to me and to be here as one of the pre-teacher students. I tidy my bed and take a bath. I also have my own food that I bring from Indonesia so I eat it as my breakfast. I and Grace will went to the airport with Mrs. Dena as we planned. At 08.00 o’clock, we went to Mrs. Dena’s office room   to met her, but she didn’t come yet. So I and Grace decided to go to the library and used the Internet there, because there is no internet connection in our room. I call my mom and my sister to inform that I already arrived in Philippines and told them the story and all of the things that happened in the airport. At 09.00 o’clock, we go to Mrs.Dena’s room to checked if she already came, but the security said that she still not in there. So we just waited for her in her office. After ten minutes ago, she came and asked about our night in RCI and we told her that we were so hap

Sea Teacher 4th Batch : Day 24

Day 24 This day is Buan Ng Wikang celebration. So we went to the school hall to see the celebration of Buan Ng Wika handled by the elementary school. In that celebration, Diu, Ying, and Jam performed their traditional dance. After that, we went to the college to see their celebration of Buan Ng Wika. After the college celebration finished, we went to the teacher's office to have lunch together. After having lunch, we went back to our room. About 16:00 in the evening, Mrs. Louisa, Sir Angel, and Sir Georgio asked us to go to Leonardo in Antipolo City. So we prepared ourselves then go. Because of the traffic, we arrived in Leonardo around 17:00 in the evening. Leonardo is a very nice place. In there, we can see all of Metro Manila from top. We had so much fun there. We took lot's of pictures, we had dinner together, we did karaoke together. I sing so loudly and we have our own disco lamp that made by Amir with his phone.
